Simple Ways to Think Outside the Box

This term has become so over-used in actuality, the mere presence of it is not out-of-the-box in any way. But the cliche is past true; in order to conduct a successful company, you must be creative (Post - Burst Through Your Spiritual Roadblock with the Creative Thinking Procedure ), do what no one else does, and (here we go again) think outside the box.

1. Be a sponge

We aren't asking you to clean up all of the dirty work, although you may need to do that, too. But more importantly, as an entrepreneur, then you must act as a sponge and absorb the world around you. Attend educational events, read up on fascinating blogs, take a look at some library books, even dive into the world of imaginative layout. When you absorb new and intriguing information-no matter how eccentric and off-topic it may be-it allows to get a new perspective on the entire world. It is particularly beneficial to consume the world around you on weekends. An additional means to absorb? Take five minutes out of your day and look closely at the world: the colors, sounds, smells, temperature, etc..

2. Tap in to your inner-child

Among the greatest elements of being creative is you get to behave like a kid ! No, we do not want you to track mud into the office or draw crayon on the walls (unless this helps your creativity. Act like a child again by using your imagination. Envision what your new idea can lead to-take it to new heights! There are absolutely no limitations to this step. Take it as much as you can and more ideas will percolate along the way.

3.

After you have developed all the possibilities, it's the right the right time to make necessary connections. The majority of these connections will come unintentionally, for instance, once you're taking a walk, reading a novel, or eating supper. "Defocusing" was proven to reduce activity in the prefrontal cortex, where more choices are made. At the same time, the right temporal lobe will have heightened activity in which logic of dreams can begin to invent.

4. Find your voice of reason

We can't be children forever, along with the mature entrepreneur in you have to emerge once you have imagined and connected the necessary dots. Now it's time to find your voice of reason. Rather than considering how things will work, try to concentrate on if they will really work. Do not worry, you can be a child again when developing your next business thought.

5. Judgment Day

Your Day of Judgment (don't worry) happens when you start to evaluate your new idea. When you start to evaluate, you'll be able to rank which thoughts are best and which can be developed at a later moment. To be able to be a better"estimate" of your ideas, create lists of Top 10s-movies, books, restaurants, TV shows, etc.. This will help you to rank your thoughts in the long term.

6. Have a swim

Ready? Once you have settled on a sensible and exciting idea, it's the right time to immerse yourself into it. When you immerse yourself in the thought, you may eliminate track of time because of the steady"flow" you will find yourself in throughout the work day-this is a good thing! To train your brain to"flow" to a daily basis, spend time doing activities that you enjoy, but include a challenge to every one (Can you walk the dog around the cube in under 10 minutes? Can you vacuum the living space in 3 minutes? Challenge yourself!)
